rofl at madexplorer93....nice back peddling and might i add, more than one time in this thread ...
and i'm just curious agent smith why you would want the info and not want to re-install the parts??? you are buying 1 item and a foot or two of hose...
at this exact moment, I don't have alot of money and I have 2 or three problems to fix. I'm trying to fix the worst problem first which I think might be the transmission modulator, and I also will be dropping the tank to fix the float. I was just asking to see if it would make a huge difference or not to see if I should fix it first or second.
i would say go to autozone, shucks, most major retail parts houses and get your codes read...even if your light is not coming on they will inspect your codes for free....as for your tranny, good luck....there are a couple great tranny experts /guru's on here that can help you with that so i would post a thread in the tranny section with all the pertinent info you can supply....as for the solenoid, it's never a good thing to run with out something it is suppose to have...good luck with your projects...
...let me make it simple here for ya...if you go back and look at my pictures and what i was writing and what i posted, it was for the cannister purge solenoid...the end of story... i just hope agent smith gets a good answer on his tranny...good day..
thanks for those pictures. So I guess the big nipple on the canister goes to one end of the solenoid and the other end goes to the tee below the throttlebody right? that's what it looks like anyways. And I'm currently replacing the tranny solenoid, I got it for $20, and as soon as the rain stops I'm gonna finish replacing it and see if it helps. I'm sure it will since when I disconnected the vacuum tube going to it, a bunch of tranny fluid dripped out.
