Opinion on Explorer mod

I am slowly in the process of working on my truck. My next dilema is lowering it and choosing rims. My truck is the typical Blue with Grey bottom trim. I was going to get some similar colored (grey) wheels with a polished lip but have been thinking of maybe painting the grey to the body color blue and putting on some black wheels. I think the Blue and Black would look sweet but I am Generation X (36yo). I want it to look sporty event though it's a V6.

Let me know your opinions!!

I would paint the trim a matching blue, and go with a chrome set of rims. Or would paint the trim black, and buy some black rims with chrome lips to give to rims and body trim some contrast...
