looks good, but i would remove the running boards, and the mudflaps.....

Looks very hot. I agree about the mudflaps, you may want to consider loosing them.

That looks like a Saleen wing. May I ask how you obtained it? Just out of curiousity...

looks nice dude the rear spoiler a little over done may be?

looks good! I agree tint the windows and lose the mud flaps, maybee drop it a little

needs to be lowered about 2 inches, then tint the front door windows to match the rest, take off the running boards and mud flaps and you are all set......the rims look a bit small, but thats ok since they are just silver

Just remove the mudflaps and you'd be all set for now. Keep the runningboards if you like them, I don't think they don't detract from the look. You can tint the windows sometime in the future if you feel like it, but it's not necessary.

Just my opinions :)

Thanks for the comments. Here's my take on em:

Tint on front windows: totally agree it needs it.

Running boards: I won't remove em, X's with em look lower to me, and this is a daily driver so they keep a lot of funk off of the paint.

Mud flaps: I do think it looks better without, but this goes back to that daily driver/paint saving thing. I have run it without on occasion when the weather is decent, but they really do protect the paint.

Wheel size/amount of drop: I am going with 17" R's because I love em and they give that factory performance look. REAL 1995 R's only come in 17" and I don't want to use any knock offs. Plus this size will offer a good balance of fitment, ride and handling. Drop will be no more than 2" to maintain ride, handling and usefullness.

I guess I am after something that looks like Ford/SVT could have built it. Clean, simple, but performance oriented over blingy/showy. (No offense to those folks, I like looking at those trucks but it isn't for me.) I think it will look cool as hell with a 98' Cobra in tow. Sorta like a matching set.

Hartman: That wing is complements of virtual reality until someone gets busy and starts making em. My avatar is the truck in its current state. The pic is the goal!:D

I agree... not the best look but hey, they serve a purpose.;)

I like it. About the mud flaps. I have the same ones and, yes, it does take away from the clean look, but with the wide wheels and tires I need them to keep my doors nice. When you drop it you will need to modify the front ones. They are very long and will hit things when you go over bumps and little curbs on the end of driveways or something. I just used a dremmel and cut about 4" off. It doesnt have the ford symbol on it anymore, but it looks stock and still serves its purpose. And to solve the rubbing problem you're going to have with the cobras after you drop it just get out the grinder. Don't waste your time with spacers or steering limiters. When you get the wheels on you'll know what spot to grind. Just take a little bit off.

Here's the best pic I have of my modified mud flaps...

Hey, at least I will be grounded! Sorta like those little rubber strips the old folks and preachers drag behind their cars. Keeps em from gettin' struck by lightning or the devil or something.

Really, thanks for the tip. I didn't know they would cause a problem. Never thought about it. I guess if I left em go they would clearance themselves!

I know about the rub issues with the R's, but thanks again for that tip as well. I was, however, curious as to why you are running 255/60's as opposed to 275/55's?

Thanks for the info 98FordX24

The rub on the swaybar isnt as bad. I really dont think there would be any difference in performance.

Gave it a little tweaking, I think it looks a little better;)

personally i think the front door windows should come as close to matching the rear doors as possible.....i mean.....its a black truck.....black windows makes it sweeeeet........and then you should get some blackouts for the front and rear...just something about black vehicles that makes them look so sweet with blackouts all around......

all in all you dont really have much work ahead of you by looking at those pictures......just removing the pinstripes, tinting the windows and removing the mud flaps....... what about clear corners?

tint the back tailights, I think that looks sweet on black trucks. just my opinion though. when you first look at those pics you can hardly tell you've photoshopped it....looks good
