Doing some early morning searching did not get me very far...

If anyone could share some threads or pics of mounting an orbital valve on a first gen I would greatly appreciate it. Trying to gather as much info as I can before I dive into finishing my full hydro setup.

i ran with full hydro myself, not a lot of guys on here have done this to their explorers but i did! so what i did was mounted the orbital on the inside of the frame. i mounted it right where the end of the steering shaft was so i could utilize the shaft. however mine is a second gen and had the rack and pinion and didnt have a normal steering box like you explorer has. i am using the stock pump with a single 8" stroke psc ram and had all my hoses custom made at napa. the stock pump works but could def be beefed up with better internals or an aftermarket pump.

Thanks for the pics!

I have a zj u-joint style sector shaft laying around that I will use to connect the column to the orbital. I will have to see how much room I have left on the inside frame rail.
