Ordered new head unit last night!

I dont post much, well mostly because i don't really have the explorer yet, but i thought you guys might be interested in this. Last night I ordered my new headunit which is going to be my christmas present. Im not gonna be able to get my license till feb. but i figured i would get a head start on my system. I also ordered another pair of door speakers since right now i only have them up front. The head unit I got was the Panasonic CQDF601. The door speakers were the Audiobahn AS68C. The whole order with shipping and everything was only $314 so i felt i got a pretty good deal since this headunit is $339 alone in crutchfield. The headunit itself was $227 and i also ordered the installation kit which included the bracket and wiring harness ($25) so I hope thats all I need to install it. I ordered it from www.competitionsound.com. They seem like a pretty good company and their prices were fair so I hope everything turns out alright. As soon as I get it and install it i will be sure to put up some pics. If you don't know which HU im talking about this link will take you to the site where i bought it.

Sweet deal What type of Explorer are you planning to get?

Its a '94 Sport 5-speed so its pretty tight. For my first mods im just gonna start simple with clears and probably a billet grill along with the system.

sounds cool. the 5 speed is awesome. i have a 5 speed in my 92.

I've heard mixed reviews about Panasonic. IN the sounddomain forum some people said don't buy panasonic panasonic sucks etc. In the end I decided for the price and the features of the 601 I wasn't gonna get much better plus I like the looks of it its pretty simple.
