Ordered some D-ring mounts

Well I ordered some of these today.

I going to be ordering a winch in about a month, So I thought I should get something to strap it too.

Holy Crap! those things are beefy, How thick across are they? Id love to mount a couple of those to my bumper

They are 1" wide 2" tall and 4.5" deep. that way they go all the way through the bumper, and are welded front and back.

need shackles like mine? 1-3/4 cross pin and 30,000 rating ? They are some old military ones i found on the side of the road.. i can watch for more if you want some i see them every so often since i live on post

I noticed you are Canadian, you can get the same thing at Princess Auto in the hydraulics section, they aren't quite as deep but only cost about $11 a piece. They are what I used.

Ahh I was in my first Pricess Auto 2 months ago when I first came to Red Deer, such a beautiful place, so much random useful junk. Looked around for those mounts but didnt find any of the right size thou, have to look again when I get paid ^^
