I would like to replace the original stock hoses on my 96 explorer, since I am doing a coolant service. The heater valve to waterpump heater hose has a mildly bent shape to reach the WP fitting, but I'm wondering if it can be replaced with bulk heater hose. NAPA says yes, but there is an expensive motorcraft moulded hose. I have lots of bulk hose and if possible I would like to use that. Did anyone have any experience with this?
