Over Drive Censor Going Out?

To start off with my explorer sometimes acts like it doesn't want to down shift. Just the other day the speedometer started wiggling and the overdrive light started flashing. Now the speedometer doesn't work. I changed the speed censor, but it still won't work. Is there an overdrive censor that needs to be changed....any ideas as to what is wrong and what can fix it?

censor is blocking out something, such as foul language from tv and radio.
you mean sensor . but no, i have no clue what the problem is... sounds weird though

It sounds like maybe your VSS is going out. You may want to check on how much it costs to replace.
