I've finally got the temp sensor put in.

All the places that I've called or dropped by wouldn't cut the pigtail off with the wires and sell it with the sending unit. I called around for the connector and found out that you have to buy the whole harness for the front end for $350! Screw that!

I took the sensor and made myself a little harness. I used some bullet terminals, wire, zip-ties and heat shrink to come up with this.

Here's a little close up.

I connected it up near where the stock one would be (I think) by the radiator on the driver's side.

It's working but now I have to locate that blasted VSS wire for windchill correction.

What'd ya think?

The temp sensor is in the wrong place. That clips in between the bumper and the lwr part of the grille.

So facing the truck it would be on the right side. look and you will see two holes on the frame of the truck between the grille and the bumper. Hope that helps.
