Stopped "Trouble"(97 4.0 OHV) earlier and discovered a large puddle under the rad on my return. Hadn't noticed the temp gauge was hot, cos it wasn't.

The coolant was leaking from the rad cap. Not sure why it would do that, there's plenty of coolant left in the header, any suggestions?

Replace the Rad. cap I had the same thing happen in my 94. I started with the Thermosta but it wasn't the problem. It turned out to be a bad Rad. cap and some lint over the front of the Rad. Took me a month to figure it out.

I've got 2 spares, I'll change em over and see if it makes a difference... won't tell the boss, she'll think I've been abusing her baby....
