P radial vs C- 6 Ply rated LT truck tires.

Funny how the P (passenger) tires will always carry more weight than C- 6Ply rated truck tires of the same size.

Yea they are rated for more weight. However, the LT tires are rated for a higher operating pressure. This means when you are hauling a load you can increase the pressure to make the tires carry it more evenly. This ultimately causes less undue stress on the tires.
