My check engine light came on and pulled a P0401 code "EGR FLOW INSUFFICIENT". I've replaced the EGR valve, the Vacuum Solenoid, and on a suggestion of a friend the PCV valve all to no avail.

And now I'm also getting a P0125 Closed loop fuel CTRL Insufficient Coolant temp. Can anyone give me some direction on what to try next?

Thanks

The P0401 is your DPFE (EGR differential pressure sensor).

yup.... I got the same damn code and replaceda ll those parts to no avail!!! Then I put in a new dpfe and it went away.... quite annoying. I bet if you put in a dpfe you'll be set.

Yeah, you need a DPFE and a thermostat.

I bought my dpfe from parts city for $40.... works great... whereas ford wanted $100+ for it

I also had the P0401 code. I checked that I had proper EGR valve operation. Replacing the DPFE for $40 from Autozone did trick. Thanks for the great posts!

I've got a P0402 code, which is too much EGR flow at idle. My friend Ford tech suggested that DPFE sensor also. I haven't had time to worry about it. Regards,

That's funny... I had my DPFE replaced at the dealership when I got a P0402 code, and they charged me about $80 installed.
