Some quick background:
2003 Explorer 4.0
150,000 miles
Tranny rebuilt by prior owner at a shop 7 months ago (have paperwork)
Truck seems to shift fine
I am getting the flashing OD light once I reach higher speeds (higher gears). Code is p0741. I can push the OD button and still feel and see a change in RPMs. Another thing I am noticing may associated with this is I hear a front end rattle at around 1900-2300 RPMs at each gear.
Any ideas what this may be? I am taking it to a transmission shop at the end of the week but would prefer to have an idea what's going on before I get to them.
