- 2000 Explorer XLT 5.0
OK guys,
Did some research on this site (Tried to anyway, kids screaming in the backround) about the P1400 code. I have a 2000 Explorer XLT 5.0 Does this truck have this sensor? Module? Whatever it is?
I really do not want to try and remove the EGR valve as it looks a bit rusty and do not feel like putting an exhaust mainfold on when the flex tube strips out or something stupid.
Truck has 84,000 miles on it and has lived in New England all of its life. (Hence the not wanting to try and break loose the EGR valve at this time)
Any photos of where this module is or if this truck even has one?
Thank you and sorry for the rant but the truck needs a sticker and it will not pass with the check engine light. When it rains it pours. (Also need to do a control arm on my Volvo. Another sticker issue, its back yard mechanics weekend)
Thank you in advance,
Richard
