So, P1824 code is about 4x4 relay circut failure, but where can I find exact relay from this code?
I've found some schemes of relays and fuses in my car, but there is more than one 4x4 relay
I've also heard that 4x4 relay could be located not in fuses box

I've already checked grounding wire under the car on transfercase and it looks ok. Some people say that I also should check grounding under the hood, but I can't understand which one exactly? Is there something else controlling 4x4?

I would check to see if when set to 4WD, if 12V is getting to the electromagnetic clutch in the transfer case, and if so, then you have a connector or clutch problem. If not, trace power delivery based on a wiring diagram, and as far as the relays you've found, swap in different relays if there are others in same or another relay box of the same type.

I doubt that you have any grounding issues under the hood if everything else is working properly, that it's just the ground for the transfer case that is relevant to this.

Is it possible that your 4WD relay is a solid state module located behind the dash, in the vicinity of the radio (which would need removed to see it) or behind the glove box? For 2nd gen explorers, there is a module next to the radio that sends 12V out on a brown wire to the transfer case to activate the t-case clutch to engage the front wheels.
