PA Explorers Unite!

I like PEX or PennEx. I've been to Central PA many times as my brother lives there, and it's not too too bad. Altoona is a nice place, Horseshoe Curve is nice to relax at... As for the name, well, it *is* the first thing most people will see on our Explorers and first impressions are important.

I like the BBQ idea, and I agree, it wouldn't hurt to wait for warmer weather. But, most important is when we all can get there.

An internet meeting chat would also be good. It would give everyone a chance to throw ideas out and see what we can agree on.

Window stickers? Definitely. I thought about those too. I'm not a bumper sticker guy, but if people want them, then they will get them hehe.

We have a lot of good ideas going here. We just need to get together to set some light rules (if any haha) and get to know each other. I will be calling Jeff within a day or two to work out some details and we will let you know what we talked about.

Hello all. That sounds like a good idea. There are also plenty of cool things to do around the southwestern Pa. area. I also belong to an SVT group and we have done fun runs in the past. It's nice to get together and put faces and names with all the users. Keep me updated and count me in.

NEPO rocks PennEX would rock as well. In general, the state of Pennsylvania is just overwhelmingly cool, especially in comparison to some of its neighbors: New Jersey, and Canada across Lake Erie. I can smell Jersey from where I live, and see the people struggling to make a simple left turn. Canada is just.. well.. canada.

adam, i tried using my aol and yahoo acounts to send you some email, im just gonna send it through this site i guess. i like the PENNEX name. that one should be a top one to start with. i'm also interestedin the barbeque at jeff's as well. lets wiat till it gets warmer too, its real damn cold here in the poconos.

i have been trying to get soem people to head to paragon with me sometime soon, that may date will be perfect. i live (at school) like 35 mins away form there but can never get anyone to go with me. would anyone be interested in going up there for that may date? i sure would like to go.

It's limited to the first 150 and reservations have to be made.... they usually have enough space but it's always good to be prepared...I'm sending in mine this coming Monday when I find out exactly what I'm going to do with the arrangements.... ie..rent an RV or camp or whatever.... but yeah....I'll probably be there...I think since I haven't been there yet that I may stick to the Level 2 trails. I don't think my truck is ready for more...but like I said...I've never been there...

think we could get some people together, i dont want to go there by myself...but if i did, do u think there would be many people there that weekend, i'd take my roomates and we will camp, i know that much for sure so far.. i might just send in my registration as soon as i figure out our finals schedule. anyone else interested?

Don't know if I would be able to make that weekend or not. Sometimes I have to travel for work and unfortunately I don't get that much notice.

i'd really like to be able to go up there. even if just a few of went, we could hang out with some of the members of the Sports in the rough group that is sponsoring the event, the price seems reasonable for 3 days of wheeling. i think i'm gonna go regardless. sounds like fun to me. the more the merrier though

Macro sucked!! I had it as a 7-10 Wednesday night class, and we drank our way through it. Funny, I don't remeber much of it

Yes indeed, Macro does suck! The only thing that makes it bearable is that my prof is a hottie. Too bad she's married. My roommate took a 6-9 Macro class and was on the verge of a nervous breakdown after like 3 weeks! I gotta give you props for making it thru that. You're probably better off not remembering much of it!

Adam and I just had an IM chat and decided to put up a poll on a name its at Dead Link Removed These are just suggestions, and if you have a good one, let us know.
We also thought a get together would be good so we can all meet. We would like to do it soon, but because a lot of the group is in school, mid May would probably be better. Let us know what dates would be good, and I can set up a BBQ at my place. I've got lots of room and there are some trails in the area.

I am lowered though so no trails for me... but i do have a lifted ranger to play with.
