that would look super cool.
A good bit of maintance though with it being white and all

I messed around in paint for a minute, and this is my half @ssed picture, of what it might look like if i painted the wheels. any other opinions?

edit: added pic to original post.

I personally like the contrast of the white body and black rims. White rims would be a lot of work to keep looking good especially if u were going to offroad

i agree, and actually i have always liked black rims on mudders. i'm just getting some opinions to see what others think.

Like the pic with the white rims. There is a little too much black, you can't really tell where the wheel stops and where the tire begins. The white rims would help off set this.

I like 'em black (like mine :D - ignore the avatar pic).

I prefer the black.

Hi toddious:

I like the white. You can try painting them yourself. Duplicolor makes spray paint specifically designed for wheels that is supposed to be chip-resistant. I've used it before and it works well, but my experience was with a street vehicle. No spray paint will hold up to off-road abuse for long. Still, it would be very inexpensive to try, and if you didn't like it you could paint them black again.

The other option is to wait until you need new tires, and have the wheels powdercoated with epoxy. It will probably cost about $200 - $300 to have them stripped and coated, but it will last much longer than paint.

Let us know what you decide.

Regards,
John.

Isn't that same wheel available in white? It might be cheaper to buy new than having it re-painted by the shop.

Personally, I'd go chrome. :)

Doug had white wagon wheels, and painted them black. I like the black.

black

I like black, Plus no brake dust worries.

Black. Two acceptable colours for wheels. Black or Chrome(Well, aluminum or chrome, same colour)

I like white. But I'm not sure if it would look right with your off-white color. Even if you matched it. I think the black gives it that rugged, yet refined look.

How about neon green, it worked for gravedigger. :D

i'm not thinking about white, if you read the post, it says PAINT WHEELS TO MATCH BODY. that means the same color as my paint job. todd.

Oh.. "tri coat pearl"... Looks white in the pics. I still think "tri coat pearl" wouldnt look as good as black.

Stick with black. More badass.

You said you liked black, so thats really the only opinion that matters, but since you asked anyways, I'd stay with black. Tri-coats are more expensive than normal paint, and is a PITA to fix once you chip it, and you will if you use them.
