 Waiting to see the finished product.

I painted my Ex grill black this summer.
Very happy with it.
However, if you didn't sand off the chrome, it's gonna have peeling issues.

Side note.. Please don't tell me you added those hooks on your bumper to be tow hooks?

I sanded most of the chrome on it so hopefully I wont have a problem.

And those d-rings are just for looks I'd never use those to pull anything with

Sounds like it's going to look cool when your done.

Like what I see, waiting for after shots.

Thank God.
I guess those D rings could be used for strapping stuff to the roof though, strong enough for that..

Hahaha yeah I'd be a fool to pull anything heavy with those

Pfft, better than factory tow hooks!
You can tow a truck out with those, no problem! ;)

Okay so I want to put steel mesh painted red behind the grill to make the black pop. You can see the red mesh on the bottom of the bumper in this pic.

Nothing like a couple of heavy D rings "slingshotting" through the rear window. LOL

 Me likey!! But then I'm the guy who pulled the chrome grille off his 96' Eddie B and put on a painted one.

Yeah..
This.
I pulled the Chrome one off mine, grabbed a Black sport grill, sanded it down, and painted Matte black.
And painted the bumper valence black too. The stock purple color was horrible..
