The plastic parts of my bumper, like many others on this board, are faded into a very unattractive grayish-pink color. Both front and back bumpers are like this. My question is, have any of you had these areas painted an all black color? If so, how much did it cost you?

Hartman, have you ever used a product called back to black? Its by mother's and it works very well. It will shine up your plastic trim (any color) to better than new condition. I just used it on my cowl yesterday.

Jason,

I can give it a shot, but I don't think it's going to help get it to the black that I want. Take a look at my Ex:

I want to get the trim to be just about as black as the body.

BTW thanks for the recommendation.

Oh my, I hadn't noticed that about your pic until now. I've seen so many explorers like that. However, that stuff does sort of melt a couple of layers of plastic away (due to the color the rag turns), so it may be worth a shot.

I'll pick some up at AutoZone tomorrow when I get my APC LED bulbs. ;) :p
