painting mirrors...

has anyone either painted their mirrors by themselves...and if so howd ya go about doing it as far as taping or removing goes. and if anyone has had a body shop do it...bout how much did they charge and did it look good?

They can be removed from inside the door. Take the panel off.

removing them your self will be ideal. No body shop in their right mind would paint them on the car.

Like todd said removing the mirrors is about as easy as they come.

I dont deal with pricing but I recon you can easily stay well under $100.00 if you remove them your self.

i took mine off and brought them in to my body/paint guy..cost me $50 to have them painted. one of the best mods i've done IMO.
