I bought some brand new white steel rims from summit racing and i want to paint them black. Any suggestions on what i should do and what type of paint to use? I need something that will stand up and not scratch or flake off.

make sure to rough up the surface and then use spraypaint or whatever.... why didnt you just buy the black ones? they are the same price

the black ones where ten bucks more. I bought the cheapo 27 dollar ones =) 115 bucks plus shipping cant beat that.

well, was saving the extra $40 worth it to have to sand off the white, go out and buy paint for it, then paint them?
i would say rustoleum... i have heard it holds up pretty good..... what about herculing them? ;)

I spent all my money on everything else im suffering from fundsalow. I was thinking of getting some of that hammer finish paint. a friend of mine painted his d44 with it and it looked decent.
