panel removal

Has anyone removed the rear drivers side panel? Where the rear lock/unlocked button is? If so what is behind there. It seems like just space. If so I would like to us it for something, but I'll keep that for the modifications. If not does anyone know where I may find online schematics?

If you don't have rear AC, then it's just an open space.

Right. Driver's rear is where the rear A/C goes. The other side is a big bass speaker, a security module, and the flat tire detector module. No dual air? Big box of nothing.

ps, I wouldn't even try to find the schematics online. They amount to about 300 pages, so I just bought the book. I bought the CD, but it only loaded once, then died. Paper is more reliable.
