Hi Chris

Did you ever get your ex fixed?

That light is also connected to the float in the master cylinder. It is possible that your master cylinder is low enough that when you brake it moves enough fluid to trigger the light. If this is the problem I would do a complete brake inspection before refilling the resivor, you may have a leak somewhere.

or some really worn down stuff........ get new rotors, drums, pads shoes and a fluid flush :) i bet that light will go away

sounds expensive there jimbo

not if you do it yourself... and can get discounted parts

We had a leaking/stuck rear cylinder, that was causing the brake light to come on during braking. But the master cylinder wasn't yet dangerously low on fluid.

the exact same thing happens in my moms mazda 626. when you brake hard the parkingbrake light comes on... im not sure if we have gotten that fixed yet
