Parking brake shoes

Was workin on freeing up my parking brakes,while takin the shoes off they kinda just fell apart.My question is can I leave them out when I put the rotors back on??I honestly don't think it will hurt anything but I really want someone elses opinion please.Its my only source of wheel and it doesn't appear that anyone keeps them in stock.It wiould only be till next weekend.

O'Reilly's ordered had them a couple of months ago, the cost was only $22. You should be able to drive without them, just don't touch that pedal. Good luck,

Thats what I figured.I put it back together and I even got the actuators on both sides all freed up.In most cases I never use it but I'm picky,if its there it has gotta work.I'll get some ordered this week......Thanks for the response.
