Parking sensors beep coming from dashboard

Hi all,
Today the parking sensors sound and other alarms (I.e., open door, back door opening) started beeping from the dashboard instead of from the speakers. At the same time the entertainment center audio config became unavailable (greyed out).
Everything still works but any idea why did this happen? The alarm sounds now like a 90’s video game…

My 2013 MKZ used to do this sometimes and I never figured out why.
