It's got to be easier than this, but I have been trying to find a set of RS9000's that will fit my 92 w/4 inch suspension lift.

Has anyone bought these for their Explorers and know the part numbers of what I need?

I have the Rough Country lift if that makes a difference. Thanks to anyone that can help me.

Thanks. I actually just found the answer. Our explorers are only listed up to a 2 inch lift using the stock rancho shocks per their website, but here's a good answer I got from another member.

The answer is:

RS99115 - Front: listed on gorancho.com for 4x4 Toyota 4-Runner.
RS99266 - Rear: listed for Excursion with no lift.

Here's a conversation with good info talking about the differences in the RS99115 (Toyota 4 Runner) and RS99117 (Ford Bronco). Both fit, just different lengths.

Hi Paul..
The numbers in my profile are correct (Using stock mounting locations).. The only difference between (99115 and 99117) is their collapsed and extending lengths (the 115s being slightly longer); Both shocks have identical upper & lower mounting types. Check out http://www.gorancho.com/products/ap...cifications.pdf for the complete listing of their shock guide.. The nice thing about the adjustible shocks is that they can fit a wide variety of vehicles because they don't have a static dampning rate.. Obviously the static rate of the excursion shock would be way to much for the explorer, but that rate would be about a 5 on the rancho setting. All you do is dial it down to where you like the ride and you're good to go (I run it at 2 on road and 5+off road)..

(shock, upper mount, lower mount, collapsed, extended, travel)
RS99115 S42 L1 13.250 20.625 c 7.375
RS99117 S42 L1 12.250 18.625 c 6.375
