So I know that I am going to get some crap for not posting pictures with this right away but ill try and get those up tonight.

I need to know the name of the black plastic part that rests at the bottom of the front windshield and the back of the hood... looks like a vent, the base of your wiper blades are mounted on/to it.... yeah i know that may not be the best description but i hope someone can tell me what it is from that.

Mine is currently held together by duct tape, and i think that it might be time to make an upgrade..

If not I'll try and have pictures by tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

It's called the cowl.

do you know where i could get one of those for a 2001 XLT?

Thanks man!

Lil expensive for my blood, looks like a fresh layer of tape is in order!

Should only need one side. Where is it broke? You could try some plastic weld.

Unfortunitly I think that I would need both sides. I'll know for sure tonight. If it is on one side it wouldn't be a bad deal.

the one hole is about 6" wide and the total depth of the cowl itself. would it work on something like that? And I can't remember the size of the other hole. The tape is still hold strong on that part.

Why not go used?

Yeah I have been thinkin about going to a yard this weekend. I thought that it would be helpful to know the name of the part before i did that. I'll call ahead and see if anyone has it.
