Part name?

In regards to the 4x4 front dana 35. Can anyone tell me the name of the part that goes over the axle shaft? Its after you take the hub and rotors off and there is a cone shaped sleeve over the axle shaft that is bolted up with 5 bolts in a circular pattern.

thanks, im having a hell of a time tracking one down. all the x at the junk yard are 2x. dealerships should have this right? my mechanic said he couldnt find it at the dealer.

..They would run about 300 thru a dealership if you can find them..

..Contact our Forum Vendor KBabiak and he can probably send you out a good used one pretty quick and cheap..

Tbars, looks like I did the manual hub conversion wrong. I think I switched the spindle nut torque specs. I was on the freeway and the front right tire locked up and i swerved in the emergency lane. The bearing and other parts were melted to the rotor and it was so frozen they needed a torch to get it undone. Im seriously so lucky I didn't cause a pileup.

Apparently there is a left and right... guess it has to do with the ABS sensor.

Anyway, my search criteria was '94 explorer spindle'. Shipping is around $30, it is a heavy part though.

..You are not still in Long Beach are you? I thought you were up in Central Coast area.. Need to fix your location?

..I know I paid 100 plus when I had some bearings eat p my spindle..The JY's started calling on their radios and finally found a spindle for me in south county..I had just sold two Knuckles and out for $40 each the day before it happened..

yup still in long beach. happened off 605 and 10 in Montabello. 149 on bronco graveyard. gonna check ebay right now.
