Passanger side seat warmer will not turn off

2003 Limited 4.6L

For some reason the passenger side seat warmer does not want to turn off when the button is pushed. You can try holding it in or pressing it repeatedly but it says on. Turning it off seems to be an occasional stroke of luck.

Has anyone else encountered this and fixed it?

Sounds like a bad switch or a short. I'd get a meter and test the switch first, if it's OK, then start digging into the wiring.
