passenger puddle light HOUSING

Can anyone help? I just need the housing to the passenger puddle light (the part the bulb socket turns and locks into). Called ford and part stores and they tell me I must buy the whole mirror!!??! This piece pops out in 5 seconds, u have to pop it out to change the bulb. Does anyone know where I can get one of these? Id greatly appreciate it!

Its for a 2003 X 4 door limited 4x4

that was going to be my next step but theres not one all that close so i didnt know if there was a site that anyone knew that had them.

As far as I know they are only sold as part of the mirror assembly.

I have one if its the same as an 02 XLT. You have a pic by chance?

I don't.. its a little wider twords the truck and as.it comes to the end of the mirror it narrows. There's no screws that hold.it in. U have to take a small screw driver and pry it from the end closest to u to get it out...

yea that housing that the red and white arrows are pointing to is the piece i need. And oddly enough every where i have checked to get this, they all have to sell the whole mirror! Thanks for showing thoes pics!! i appreciate it

Here is the extra mirror I have. How do you remove that housing without damaging it?

U stick a small screw driver in between the mirror and the housing and the narrow end ( the end away from the truck). U need to stick it up there about 1/8th of n inch and u pry it downwards then. Its a little tab that holds it in
