PCV Location ????????

I am currently trying to replace the pvc valve on my 98 explorer sport. I have been unable to find the location of the pcv valve, I have checked high and low and even went out and purchased a manual and were it says it is located its not. Please help

On my '00 4.0 SOHC XLT, it is at the rear of the intake manifold, right up against the firewall. When I replaced mine last year, Ford didn't have a replacement part number for it yet. I used a Purolator PV225.

Where is the location of the PVC valve for a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge? It is a 6 cylinder 3.0L
