OK so I'm new here and my google fu apparently sucks.
so I have a 2016 explorer with the 3.5 Ti-VCT V6. it runs well but I think there some minor room for improvement.
one of the things I've done to most of the cars I've owned is a PCV trap or catch can. device goes inbetween the airline from the PCV valve or vent - and the intake manifold and it uses inertia to screen the oil out of the vapor before letting it pass to the intake side of the engine.
I like the device from UPR incidentally but there are other similar 3 chamber devices that work well.
I'm also new in a way to ford - most of my cars have been GM so I'm more familiar with their logic of design. So I am assuming Ford doesn't put a PCV trap in their engine designs as they have to be emptied occasionally.
SO - has anyone installed one on an 2013+ explorer and is there any info on devices, mountings, plumbing etc.?
I know people use them on mustangs and focus's.
