PCV Valve

does anyone know where the pcv valve on a 1998 5.0 v-8 is located? i want to get one and replace it to see if i get better performance.

it is on the intake manifold way in the back.
there is no way to see it,just reach behind the plenum and find the
hose and follow it.

Your dealer should replace it for free, depending on your mileage. Look in your scheduled maintenance book. I have a SOHC, mine will be replaced at 60,000.

Either way, I think the PCV is all of $3.00, and you can replace it yourself.
