pedal to the metal

Well guys today I came up with a new meaning to the phrase pedal to the metal today somehow (prolly cuz of my heavy foot) my gas pedal broke and was dangling around on the floor panel has this happened to anybody else and is there a cheap way to fix it?

depends on what broke and where and why it broke......

i used to work security and the work trucks ranger did that when i was driving.... well its mount to the firewall had cracked due to previous accidnets and it was never repaired, iver time that crack got bigger and bigger and the one day i drove it, the rivits just pulled all the way through

It's happend to quite a few on here. Search for "gas pedal broke" or something similar. Some people have used bolts or rivets to re-attach it.

wow thanks i didnt know the problem was that common oh well im glad no one got into some deep doo doo with it
