Anyone from Greensboro besides me? I have been itching to go to Uwharrie, but have not had the chance to, yet. Its only about 45 minutes from my house. Other than that, there are no legal places around here to get dirty....

kool. this thread is back up again after some time. would love to go wheeling, but usually i just do spur of the moment stuff. nothing planned really. this summer though i'll have some free time so it would be pretty kool if we could all meet up somewhere and go wheeling for a day or two. take it easy all, and keep on wheeling!!

i will be in n.c in may next year ill be stationed there at pope so ill have to hook up with some people there also im looking for some good surf spots there as well if any one here knows of any good local breaks

what kind of wheeling do you do in n.c. im not to big on the whole mud part of it but i love sand and rock crawling for as much as i can do is there a local club that has outing and such out there

There's plenty of sand on the beaches in NC and when you head out west towards the mountains it gets pretty rocky.

wats up everyone! it kool to finally find all my fellow north carolinians. im from fayetteville and i will agree, we need to all get together and go to Uwharrie or some where like that. i have never been on the truck trails but i know the mountain bike trails are awsome. i just have one problem, my x is all stock right now. but depending on when we all get together i might have my autofab lift are there any trails i could ride right now with it stock or would i b wasting time? dose anyone have pics of wheeling up there. i have never been rock or mountain climbing, im more of a mudder, but i am always willing to lock in 4 wheel
so lets go sometime.

we should get a little offroading trip together if you guys know of any decent spots in the area...i'd even go for uwharrie once i get my tires and lift on, if there's some people interested...

im just across the catawba river from charlotte. my truck is completely stock.....i dont know how it would do at uwharrie.

stock is fine for uwharrie if you arent afraid to knock off the running boards/nerf bars and hit your frame occasionally on berms

oh BTW... if you make it a weekend run i can come down... i'm from Winston Salem but am in school in Nashville
