I ran the 5.5 superlift with turned beams for a few years. I had to have the sway bar hooked up or it would death wobble! Other than that it was fine. I am not a fan of body lifts, so never had one. I did a SAS because of the problems with large tires and little hubs. Still got the droped arm with no problems, with no sway bars. I can run 70 with one finger no problems.

Wont the 5.5" superLift be enough to run like 35"s (without a body lift) ? Cauz I think anything larger than that, and you'll be blowing up hubs and axle shafts. Plus rock crawling is all about keeping that CG low anyway ;) So try to avoid doing the body lift, plus it saves you money :)

If you're asking about the bodylift with your 5.5", it doesn't affect anything.

Your steering even at 5.5" will still see a dramatic improvement by swapping to the larger Skyjacker drop arm though (pt# FA600).

so basically the longer arm isn't needed for more than 6". i may be running f150 seats instead of a body lift.

Your steering will only be lifted 5.5", the body lift wont lift your steering higher. Yes, I would go with the drop pitman arm, (I believe anything 4" and taller). Also get the superrunner steering system with your lift, I didn't and wish I had.

i already have the lift. i'm just lookin for a pitman arm
