I am running a 99 5.0l explorer and I plans on a couple upgrades and wanted opinions and thought if I am doing right or something wrong or won't work...
1-Cold air intake
Replace whole intake hose with mandrel tubing and a AEM Dry filter and box in the filter in order to prevent the motor form pulling hot air out of the engine...
2-High flow exhaust
MY exhaust is leaking and needs to be fixed.. So I have a couple pieces of tubing laying around from previous builds and a flowmaster 40 series 3 chamber I believe ... I wan to make a cat back system pretty much but not sure how far close I can get to the motor??? I am going from 2 pipes down to 1 pipe because my muffler has 1 inlet and I want to dump the exit out the passenger side right before the rear tire for the quickest way but it has to be able to pass nj inpsection...
