I never get home in time to call Perry's and they don't have an e-mail address up (I don't think) so I was gonna see if you guys knew the answer to this. They have 2 types of hoods. Ones that fit on a stock 91-94 and conversion ones. If I'm correct at least. Well on the replacement ones, how much lighter are they than an OE hood? Does anyone know?

hey, i read your other posts, and you don't have the money to pay for anything from perry's. you shouldn't think about getting a lighter hood until your engine mod list is longer than alec's.

Who's not to say he's not interested... Maybe he's just curious to learn about the product. Also, what? Gotta have alot of engine mods to make a lighter hood worth it? I think ya sound slightly over-critical if ya ask me.

your right, my post sounded way overcritical, but the truth is that a new hood is awful expensive, and doesn't really represent much of an improvement for the dollars particularly a fiberglass one.

i also want to add that although it sounded like i was ripping on you for not having the money, there is no way i could get the money for one of perry's hoods together either. so i guess i was just trying to crush your dream since my dream of a functional ram air hood was crushed long ago, and i am still bitter.

Well anyways, does anybody know how much they are or how much they weigh?

the whole kit (conversion to newer body style) cost $600.
but it doesnt come with the newer style headlights.
