The only 'modifaction' are the factory skid plates that I added after getting involved with Explorer4x4 and attended the 1999 Colorado Colors Run.

I do have 4.10 gears and LS. Also dumped the Firestone AT's and replaced them with Pirelli Scorpion AT's.

Hey, how do you like those Pirelli Scorpians? I am considering them for my next set of tires. They look really good. Just trying to get some feedback on them.

Ouch...Is it as bad as it looks?

please tell me you got the scratches out! that would make me weep! my wife saw those and told me i can't go to moab now! j/k!

Majority of the scrathes come out with a good waxing. Gerald, of course, recommends Zaino!

It's not as bad as it looks. Mostly dust and scraping along bushes. Just stay away from the thick branches and thorns (sometimes hard to do in desert type terrain). Meguiar's #9 Swirl remover and a good wax job (old fashioned carnuba paste wax) took care of most of it. You really have to get up close to see some real light scrapes in the clear coat.

The 3rd & 4th pics are taken after Moab.

It's good to know that you guys are concerned about other people vehicles. Shows what kind of people are on this board. I'm proud to be part of it.

Rob

Sorry for overlooking your question about the Pirelli Scorpions. I think they're a great replacement for the Wilderness AT's. I have the 255-70/R16's. They seem to be a lot better in the rain and also in the snow. I was up in the mountains 10 days ago. Snow up past my knees and no problem. Tread is more aggressive too than the Stones and is really great for the mild off roading that I do. I highly recommend them.
