Hi Guys, I want to add some splash guards to my truck. It is a 03 XLS with appearance package. I am thinking about the OEM Molded style, but I am open to suggestions...any photos of yours would help!

This is something I photoshopped. I'm debating on Rhinolining around the bottom.

NICE! I am looking at a set of flat flaps like that from Ford that say "Explorer" on them...they lookg good, but I still think I like the contoured ones better.

That brush guard is awesome!

If you mean by "contoured", Plastic...then there is a reason why you would want Flat ones.

The rubber flat ones will obviously flex and not get hung up in rocks and mud. If all of your driving is on the road then the harder plastic "contoured" ones are nicer but can be a pain off-road.

Noted, but this is an on-road vehicle...we won't do too much rock crawling or mud bogging in this one! Here is a pic of what I have in mind, but I am having a heck of a time finding the right ones. My truck is an XLS with flares and runnng boards. The ad for the ones pictured are for 01-03 Sport 2 doors. Would there be a difference in flaps?

Well, it's been 3 weeks and I still haven't found a set of guards that I like. I called 3 different Ford Dealerships and got 3 different part numbers!

Does anyone have the actual part numbers for the contoured flaps pictured above? They need to fit my 03 XLS with appearance package (black fender trim) and tubular running boards. Any photos of flaps on your XLS would be cool, too! Thanks...Rocket

I finally got a set of front mud guards bought and mounted! I found some nice Highlands contoured flaps at Advance Auto that match the fender flares. I got long flaps for the front, but I am thinking about shorter ones for the rear even though the application list calls for the same ones front & back. I'll post some pics later.
