Hey everyone, I'm a new member here and I am retrofitting the rear vent window into my early 07, I have the window and the wiring, the overhead switch, except I am unsure about how the regulator and the cover fit, I know how the regulator fits in, but I have the solid window big metal cover on the back wall and I think the metal cover for the vent window regulator is different, or even if there is a cover for the regulator at all, the regulator could be exposed and the metal cover could be flat underneath the regulator, before I take it all apart and find I'm missing the right cover and have to drive around with a big hole in the back wall until I find one.
I'm not talking about the big plastic trim panel that goes over everything, I think those are the same, but if anyone knows if they are different please let me know that as well, the junkyard refused to ship it, "too big" they said, which I understand.
I have tried to get the junkyard that sold me the window to take pics, but they already crushed the vehicle, I even tried to get some ebay sellers to sell me the cover and take pics, zero response so far.
So I figure it's a long shot, but I wanted to try here, hoping by some chance a member here has been behind the back trim panel of a ST and has a taken pic of the window assy.
Anyways, thanks a bunch to anyone who may be able to help.
