Now, half the point of SOA is to gain ground clearance by getting the horrible hanging U bolt plates and shock mounts out from under the axle. So why would you keep them down there? Just curious. Looks good though. I'm guessing you're going with swampers for 34's? Oh, and chalk one up for the 2 wheelers! :D

Take that cool piece, get some ear and eye protection, put some really COOL Pychmyer handle grips on it, load it up wth FMJ rounds and then blast that too low shock mount off a couple inches back of where it mounts to the shock, You will now have to pieces left, take the piece off the axel and just let the U-bolts go around the axel, the other piece that is left hanging on the shock simply reweld to axel. You might lose some shock travel but the trade off is worth it. I think J602,myself and other people will think the same thing. You did some really good looking stuff though nice work

good job, i dont know why your wasting your time with new wheels and tires though those look fine. did that shop you took it to do the SOA?

The rims look pretty cool. Have to see them on the truck to see for sure though. :D Like Rookie and J602 said, I'd move the u-bolt plate and shock mounts, etc. Better setup + even more ground clearance. Can't wait to see it with the new tires and wheels.

yes the shop did the all the work and yes i know those dam shock mounts... but to tell you the truth guys ( and i know this is gonna kill you ) my ride is really just for street and mild off roading... i am not worried about the clearence... how ever if that comes into play i will def. get it swaped.... i will post new pics when the new wheels are on... thanks :)

What kind of 34s? TrXus M/Ts?

Well, I don't do hardcore wheeling either, but I'd rather have the ground clearance. Plus, I just think they look WAY better that way.

it would look way better the oterh way.... hell shock mounts cost $20......

Shock mounts cost zero dollars. Use the upper swaybar hole.

I would have got a leaf spring pack out of a four door put under there too. I did, and the ride improved alot! Monoleaf sux. Truck looks good though, keep it up.

I like it! Looks just like my Kimber Custom Polymer.

I was kinda surprised to see the monoleaf springs under the truck still too. Truck looks good though.
