hmmmm how much were they?

Right at 5 bucks a pair. 1 pair per spring. I got them at auto zone. Most local parts stores have them. Hope they work for you...

hmmmm i miget go get some next week 20 dollars is a lot cheaper then 200 for now

just a word of warning, the screws will eventually bend and unscrewing them will be impossible... i did it and had to use a dremel to get them out of the spring

Where did you get the rack for the top, I would love to have one just like that and put some nice lights on it?

My friend and I did make that rack! 1/3 of the price as buying one.

Jutgin, that's a sweet Eddie you got there, I love that black trim and wheels. Let's see some new pics!

be careful using the spring compressors/extenders i know you only plan on them for a little while but they will tend to ruin a spring by actually taking the spring out and forming cracks where the pressure is applied (however this takes a few hundred thousand loads depending on how tight you crank them)

But sweet ex man i an seriously contemplating the black rim thing. Again nice work.
:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I have actually already taken the spring locks off, I don't rcommend them.

Bitten!

edit:

1. Level out the Menace by raising the front end...
2. Get the rim rings painted black or maybe the entire rim - glossy
(moved to another thread)

Don't paint those rims, they are so nice as they are. Hey, if you want some black rims, i'd consider trading with ya. ;) What size tires are those anyway, i can't seem to find where you said.

ha! i gotta make changes... 17x8.5 (pretty sure 8.5) Tires are 265/70/17. the roof lights have to come down (the top 4) i'm slowing down traffic at night because people don't know what they're looking at... so they brake or swerve or just slow down. what do you think about raising the front end?

I'll answer in your Menace Registry...

your lift springs didn't level it?

i didn't want it level at the time, so i ordered 1.5" all around...

truck looks awesome! i love the black wheels, and that green looks reallly good with them:thumbsup:

I love the look of your truck, but I would like to make a suggestion: lightly tinting your rear taillights. They seem a little bright red...you know, just a light tinting so they are slightly darker, like what ghoster did. It looks really good.

i second that!

Looks great! Another suggestion..... Your ex looks great except for the rusty tailpipe. Hit that sucker with some sandpaper and spray it with some flat black spraypaint. I used some special high heat paint from lowes, it was made for grills or something. It will really finish off the look of your truck.

That is a good one, I haven't thought of that one yet. I did want to tint the tail lights though, I'll be doing that one soon. I'm gettting my springs on this week so I 'll have to do some updated pics soon.

yea i would suggest using brake caliper paint or engine coating... i forget what brand it is, but its pretty common at any auto store... autozone or pepboys most likely... they have plenty of colors so im sure u could find some black
