Hi guys , installing a new clutch in my truck along with the new engine. Ok so everything's going good but I'm confused about the pilot bearing.
4.0 sohc , ranger. 09 engine , going into my truck. When I took the flywheel off my old motor , the pilot bearing was in the flywheel. However I'm reading mixed reviews stating that it should be installed in the crank ! Can anyone help me out . Where do I put the bearing ? The new engine was an automatic so no pilot bearing in it. When my truck was together last it had trouble shifting and the pilot bearing was destroyed. So I'm questionable about it being in the flywheel like it was.
