I've seen this before, but could never find it again. Now I've found it and wanted to pass it on. This (http://www.carsoft.ru/avtorepair/gtest.pdf ) is an EEC-IV diagnostic article that includes code checking procedures and the circuit tests. It's taken from Mitchell and is specific to the '95 Ford Explorer. Much of what's in there, though, applies to any EEC-IV system. This article could be your best resource (especially if your local library doesn't have these manuals) for diagnosing the EEC-IV system. The article contains procedures for extracting trouble codes, and articles to tell you what causes the codes you're getting, and systematic procedures for determining how to repair the problem.
