i just did this recently with my '02 sport. the trick is to use the blow dryer ONLY to loosen the end of the pinstripe enough to be able to get ahold of it. then take the blow dryer away and pull gently. the pinstripe itself actually pulls off cleanest when cold. just use the dryer to get it started. if you keep the dryer on, it melts the length of the pinstripe and keeps you from pulling it off in long strips. some goo gone took away any residue left after the removal.
