Pinto to return in '02

In the newest issue of Hemmings Motor News, they report Ford is bringing back the Pinto as a 2002 model. The base model engine will be a 1.6L 4 cyl. with a supercharger option, and 4X4 will be available as well.

Hey, you forgot to mention that *only* the station wagon model will be returning, as the Subaru fighter.

Yup, that's right folks, low riding, single range transfercase vehicles are all the rage!

Also, don't forget, they have figured out how keep the pinto from exploding when hit from the rear; it has the world's largest airbag, which deploys between the Pinto rear and the vehicle attempting to rear end it.
