Places to “play” in upstate NY?

I would be happy to. The problem is, I don’t know WHERE to go. I do not know where there are any trails or such around here.
My truck is fairly stock aside from the B.W.M. turning the 4wd automatic in to true 4x4. (although 95 was good year for off road abilities) So I am not looking for anything to serious. Just some mud ect…
There are some places I have been but you are more likely to get chased of the properties by a farmer with a shotgun then get stuck.
Do you know anywere?
