please help ASAP (engine)

The engine wont start! I have enough power and it's turning over but the engine just wont start.
I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the cheap gas i bought yesterday. It was like 10 cents less than other stations and im a starving artist so yeah

Listen in the area of the fuel door, with driver door opened while you switch key just to the "on" position. You are listening for a small electric motor (fuel pump) running for about 2 seconds. Do you hear it?

yeah i went out and opened the tank cover and drivers door and it started. that is so strange. now it's fine i guess
i dont want to leave and then be stranded somewhere. Also Im planning a road trip to CA and don't want to get stuck in the dessert or something
