Please help daily driver down

91 explorer 2wd 4door 5 speed my fuel pump stoped working i took the relay out and found out that if i cross two of the conections the pump kicks on and then i have to cross another to get it to start so i bought a new fuel pump relay and it did nothing someone said check power to the pcm but idk where to start doing that and also wanted to hear some other ideas before i went there please help

I fixed it

it was the relay next to the fuel pump relay i just put the old fuel pump relay on it and put the new one i bought for the fuel pump in where the bad one was and it runs great

I believe the relay you replaced that fixed the issue was the ECM relay. If that one doesn't close the fuel pump relay wont be told to close either.
